Vadodara police booked three accused in vehicle lifting under PASA 

Vadodara police sent three accused arrested in vehicle lifting and prohibition to different jails under the Prevention of Anti-Social Activities (PASA) Act. 

Under PASA, the Karelibaug police sent one convicted car lifter to Bhavnagar Jail. Bismillah alias Sahil Rajubhai Mahida (Garasiya), 40, is a compulsive vehicle lifter and has been involved in this crime for a long time. He is originally from Nadiad and now resides in the Gorwa region of Vadodara city.

The papers were sent to the police commissioner, and the accused was held as a dangerous person under Section 3(2) of the Gujarat Prevention of Anti-Social Activities Act 1985 and transported to the Bhavnagar jail.

Police are conducting a push in the Vadodara district to find out about prohibition cases and take punishment against arrested bootleggers under PASA to maintain peace and order ahead of the upcoming Panchayat elections. Nandesari police also sent two bootleggers to jail under PASA as a result of this.

Jignesh Kanubhai Mali, 19, of Padamla village in Vadodara district, and Jignesh Mafatbhai Mali, 20, of Khodiyar Nagar, New VIP road in Vadodara city, were detained in a prohibition case at Nandesari police station, according to PI S.A. Karmur. Under PASA, Jignesh Kanu Mali got transported to Rajkot, and Jignesh Mafat Mali got sent to Bhavnagar Jail.
