Vadodara police’s final examination!

 

The fun and frolic for city’s Ganesha idols’ immersion is expected to be well managed. Vadodara city police have issued a public circular stating the arrangements that’ll take place on the day of visarjan on 23rd September. The public notification issued by Vadodara Traffic Police stating route diversion. Certain roads and areas of western part of the city like Akota, OP Road, Gotri, Vasna Road will be closed for vehicular movement. The idol procession will have to take place from Akota Dandiya Bazaar Road to reach the Navlakhi Ground.

The whole stretch of Rajmahal Road from Lalbaug Bridge till Kuber Bhavan will be closed for vehicles. As per police order, roads to be utilized for the procession from areas like Manjalpur, Makarpura, Raopura and Nagarwada. There will be just two entry points on Navlakhi Ground for processions coming from Rajmahal Road. Whereas exit will be through a gate on Akota Daandiya Bazaar road.

Police have prohibited DJ systems beyond the Rajmahal Gate from Lalbaug and Khanderao Market sides. And for the western side of city, they won’t be allowed beyond the Akota end of Akota Dandiya Bazaar Road.
