Vadodara Railway Station will be Re-Developed

To upgrade the existing passenger amenities and to improve the circulating area by streamlining the traffic flow pattern with the integration with locality and strategy to make the station as a hub of the city.  The approximate cost of the project is Rs 18 Crore

This redevelopment of the station will happen in two phases. In the first phase, the new façade design of the railway station will be based on the heritage theme of the city. New roofing & repair works of platforms, new parking space is proposed to streamline the traffic flow. Station Map will be placed at a suitable location indicating the facilities available.  Existing waiting rooms, retiring rooms and toilets facilities will be revamped.

Renewable Energy push to match up with the electricity requirement of the station & for efficient use of water, Water Recycling Plant will be set up.
