Vadodara Rural LCB caught women Sansi gang who cheated people by stealing

The women Sansi gang of Madhya Pradesh involved in cheating customers by standing outside banks, post offices, and ATMs in different cities of the state were caught by the Vadodara rural Local Crime Branch. Recently, outside SBI Bank in Savli, an elderly man was approached by 2 women on the pretext of asking for an address and with the help of 2 other women, stole Rs 1.40 lakh in cash.

After the complaint, LCB’s PI DB Wala and PSI MM Rathore formed teams and started an investigation, and checked the bank’s CCTV. Police received the information that these women are from Kadiya Sansi village of Rajnagar district of MP.

Meanwhile, when the police got the news that the gang was in Kathalal and resembled the four women seen in CCTV of the bank in Savli. Police arrested Ektabai Sanjay Sansi, Gunjabai Mandeep Sansi, Bindu Parvat Sansi, and Rajkumari alias Kamibai Bhagwan Singh Sansi and after interrogation, got to know about their involvement in cheating with the same Modus Operandi.

The police investigation revealed that for the last five years, the women Sansi gang was active in Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Bharuch, Gandhinagar, Jamnagar, Panchmahal Godhra, Rajkot, Kheda, Mehsana, and Rajpipla. They had snatched Rs 1.40 lakh from Savli, Rs 41,000 from Jambusar seven days ago, Rs 85,000 from a young man from Fategunj post office in Vadodara city seven months ago, Rs 35,000 from a young man who came out of an ATM seven days ago in Padra and Rs 10,000 from a woman who came out of a bank in Gondal.

The investigation revealed that the women kept moving across the state under the pretext of selling saris and kept eye on people who withdraw money from banks and post offices and ATMs. Later on, they deceive the victim by distracting them while the other members of the gang steal the cash and deposited money in their husband’s bank account. They used to sell sari during the day and slept in the bus station and railway station area at night. They used to leave the city after deceiving stealing.
