Vadodara students get into record books after filing 21 patents in a single day

25-year-old Maulesh Parikh gets into record books after filing 21 patents in a single day. In June, he applied for the India Book of Records, and in July 2021, he acquired a certificate permitting him to file the most patents in a single day by an individual.

The first-year law student at Anand Law College, Maulesh completes his M.Tech from Parul University in 2021. Based on his innovation urge and engineering background, he filed 21 patents in a single day. He prepared virtual models and filed for the record.

“The virtual models are from different fields like Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical, Dentistry, Machine learning, Artificial Intelligence, working model of appliances running with renewable sources and others. One of the models worth mentioning of a wheelchair moving on Artificial Intelligence. I received the certificate and medal from the India Book Of Records, which helped me move ahead in my career.” said Maulesh.

Maulesh completes his engineering but wants to make his career in Intellectual Property Right. With this in mind, he is presently pursuing a degree in Law. “Since 2017, I have been doing innovations and also, doing two years courses in Intellectual Property Right (IPR) which refers to any intellectual creation like literary and artistic works, inventions, designs, and others. Intellectual property law exists to protect the creators and covers areas of copyright, trademark law, and patents. I want to move ahead in this career,” added Maulesh.
