Vadodara to get 17 mobile veterinary hospital, 3 allocated

A new initiative of the state government: Under the 1962 service for immediate veterinary treatment like 108 for human treatment, 3 mobile veterinary dispensaries were allotted to Vadodara district in the first phase.
The district will get 17 mobile veterinary hospitals in phases.


Vadodara: The Government of Gujarat has shown compassion by launching comprehensive campaign to save the lives of animals. As a strong step in this compassion campaign, the Animal Husbandry Department of the State Government, With the backing of 108 has started a pioneering service of mobile veterinary hospitals based on telephone no. 1962 for life-saving treatment of animals similar to 108 services for immediate human treatment. 
Shri Bhagora, Deputy Director, Animal Husbandry, Vadodara District, said that in the first phase, the service of 3 mobile veterinary hospitals of Vadodara district will be available under 1962. This mobile hospital, which can be called a moving veterinary hospital, will provide service in 10 allotted villages of Vadodara district


At the present stage, out of the three mobile veterinary dispensaries available in Vadodara, one will be at Kanba in Karjan taluka, the other at Nandesari in Vadodara taluka, and the third at Vemar in Savli taluka and will provide free veterinary services in 10 villages. Thus, in the first phase, 30 villages of Vadodara district will get the benefit of 1962 Animal Emergency Service i.e. immediate veterinary services.
Mr. Bhagora said that in the second phase Vadodara district will be allotted 6 more and in the third phase 8 more total 17 mobile veterinary dispensaries will be allotted which will provide free and home-based health care to the veterinarians of 170 villages of the adjoining district. 1962 vehicles are equipped with GPS, this service can be monitored in real time by the CM Desk Board.
The mobile animal hospital will have a veterinarian and a driver co-assistant services. From 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. by calling 1962, veterinarians in the area will be able to get veterinary services. The vehicle will house essential medicines, small arms operations and This revolving facility of various types of treatment including gynecology will be life saving in case of emergency along with taking care of animal health.
