Vadodara Woman Balances Wedding and Education, Heads Straight to Exam After Pre-Wedding Rituals

Falguni Parmar, a 24-year-old woman from Vadodara, set an inspiring example by heading straight to Dahod for her Gram Panchayat Secretary Talati Cum Mantri Class-III Exam after completing her pre-wedding rituals. Despite getting married the following day, Falguni, who is pursuing a Master’s in Economics from MSU Baroda, prioritized her education and reached the examination centre in her traditional attire.

Speaking about her decision, Falguni stated, “Marriage is an important occasion of life, and education is equally necessary, which helps fulfill your dream. For me, both are important, and hence I completed the rituals in the morning and went straight to my centre for the Talati exam. This exam fulfills my dream of doing a government job.”

Falguni lost her father and is the only child in the family. Her maternal uncle, Kamlesh Parmar, who is also a social worker in Vadodara, stated, “We support and give her all the love after she lost her father. She is good in studies and wishes to do a government job. For her Talati exam, we completed the pre-wedding rituals early so that Falguni reaches her exam centre in time. A Muslim friend also supported and took us in his car to Dahod.”

Falguni’s dedication to both her education and marriage serves as an inspiration to many. She sets an example of balancing both aspects of life and following her dreams with determination.
