The cost of violating the lockdown impositions made by government is you losing your passport and getting denial for NOC needed from police while applying for a new passport.
Currently the lockdown is imposed in the whole country till April 14th to fight corona pandemic. To prevent the spread of the virus, police has been given the responsibility to ensure that people do not come out of their houses for non-essential reasons.
There are several notifications published regarding the lockdown and even Vadodara police has made it certain to implement it by detaining vehicles of people flouting the law. Several people have already been booked for the same.
A staggering warning is now given by Vadodara police that people violating the law will be booked under National Disaster Act 2005 and Epidemic Disease Act. This means the passport of booked people will get canceled and NOC (No Objection Certificate) will not be issued for a new passport application.
