About CLEAN-India
CLEAN-India, flagship youth programme of Development Alternatives, is launching a youth campaign ‘The City I Want’ in 10 cities of India. In its first phase, the campaign is coming to Vadodra, Mohali and Mirzapur cities. We have also collaborated with the World Urban Campaign initiated by UN-Habitat. Our campaign is in sync with this global movement for creating better cities of tomorrow.
A brigade of Green Crusaders will be created in each city who will work towards making their city a “Sustainable City”. The online survey has already been initiated in Vadodra, Mohali and Mirzapur cities to understand what are the environmental challenges youth of the city are bothered about? The results of online survey will be released on 5th June 2014 i.e. World Environment Day. The results will be shared with urban local bodies of the cities.
