Vadodara’s coronavirus cases have spiked in recent times. OSD Dr Vinod Rao informed that August will be extremely crucial in their ongoing fight against COVID 19. From 1st August other branches and Field Officers of VMC will be involved in the fight against the virus.
Dr Rao had a meeting with all the four Zonal Deputy Commissioners, four AMCs, four Zonal Health Officers along with the Municipal Commissioner. Deputy Commissioners will undertake micro-planning for each zone and present their plans on Friday for the third round of door to door surveillance from 4th August to 8th August. Home-based COVID Care of all patients will be monitored for each Zone by the Deputy Commissioners daily, involving AMCs and Zonal Health Officers.
Furthermore, they will also monitor the work of Dhanwantari Raths and take a follow up of each detected symptomatic patient. The administration will also provide real-time linkage between hospitals and the relatives of every patient admitted so that the progress and condition of all patients can be conveyed to the relatives.
