This Monsoon, a greener Vadodara will rain!

45 organisations from around Vadodara along with the city’s Mayor have decided to initiate a massive tree plantation campaign across town.

In a promise to #MakeVadodaraGreen, this monsoon will see new saplings and plants being planted at various dividers, public spaces, common areas of societies, and common plots.

NGOs and the VMC will play a major role in this initiative and envision the city to be covered with the greens of trees. Additionally, they also plan to begin work on development of urban forests in various areas in the city.

The initiators will be organizing a drive around town, selling plants and saplings, and encourage the locals to support the cause.
