Online content has made life much more entertaining. OTT channels with their diverse content have caught the attention of the youth. But who knew that watching a web-series will make two girls in Vadodara plan their escapade to fulfill their acting career in Mumbai.
Two cousins of the age of 14, living in Manjalpur left for the ‘City of Dreams – Mumbai’, all by themselves yesterday afternoon. They had gone to school for submitting their answer sheets but they did not return home. The parents got worried and checked at the school and found their scooter parked outside, but the girls were not there. The parents then approached the police to help trace them. The cops tracked their mobile phones’ locations, which showed Vapi.
A team of Vadodara Police was dispatched and Vapi Police was alerted too. When the Police questioned them, they said that they took a GSRTC bus to reach Surat and from there they went to Vapi. But they had suspected that the parents might have started searching for them along with cops, they took a bus back to Jhagadia.
The girls were traced in Jhagadiya near Bharuch where they had returned from Vapi. But to avoid being scolded at home they made up a story of getting kidnapped. The girls told their parents over the phone that they were very frightened and asked them to pick them up.
Finally, with the help of the Bharuch police, both the girls were found and brought back to Vadodara.
