A fashion designer who became pregnant has lodged a complaint against the father of two children who physically abused her with the lure of marriage. The girl alleged in the complaint that after giving birth to a son, the man, his wife, and his friend threatened to kill her.
According to a complaint lodged at the Raopura police station, the victim lives with her family in the Narmada district. In the year 2010, she used to come to Vadodara to do a fashion designing course. At that time she got in touch with Pradip Kumar alias Pappu Ramsamuj Jaiswal who lives in Chhotaudepur district. Meanwhile, the two became close friends. She went to Surat to work and the interaction lessened between them.
Meanwhile, after the death of her father, Pappu started calling her again and as the financial condition of her family was not good, he took advantage of it and lured the girl to marry him. He earned her faith by saying that he will take care of the family in any circumstances.
The complaint states that in the year 2014, Pappu called the girl to Mandvi and took her to a hotel near Surasagar. After that, he repeated the same on numerous occasions in various places in city and places like Ujjain, Shirdi.
According to the complaint, Pappu came to Vadodara in 2015 in a jeep and took the girl to Ambaji where she put sindoor on her head. He later took her to a hotel and raped her and told her that he is married and has two children. He promised her he will marry legally after divorce. It was at that time the victim realized his marital status.
Meanwhile, the girl got pregnant and gave birth to a boy. She was called by Pappu’s wife and threatened to kill her. Pradeep and Manoj Joshi also joined in abusing and threatening the girl.
She finally gave a complaint to Raopura police station and based on that further investigation is on in the matter.
