Women-led ATS team arrests history-sheeter Jusab Allarakha from forest in Gujarat

A team of the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) in Gujarat, led by four women police officers, has arrested Jusab Allarakha, a native of Junagadh, who is involved in at least 23 cases of extortion and murder. The Gujarat ATS officers who led the operation are Santok Odedara, Nitimi Gohil, Aruna Gohil and Simmi Mal.

The team received a tip that Jusab was hiding in a forest in Botad district, and consequently launched the search operation and nabbed the absconding history-sheeter on Sunday.

Various cases have been lodged against him in rural Rajkot, Junagadh, Ahmedabad city and rural areas.

He used to live in the forest areas in Botad areas to evade arrest. He used to threaten people and participate in land encroachments. He has been handed over to CID crime for further action.
