In the last two months, the Labour Department Office has registered 30,000 unorganized laborers as the Central Government decided to issue e-shram cards to the unorganized workers to assure social security to them so that they can avail advantages of an insurance scheme.<\/span><\/p>\n

Unorganized workers include domestic workers, self-employed workers, or salaried workers according to section-2 of the Unorganized Labour Social Security Act,2008. Common service center registers the e-labor card. C.M of Gujarat, Mr. Bhupendra Patel has set an aim to provide assistance to the people who are benefiting from this scheme within 100 days. E-labour cards are daily reviewed by district collector Mr. R.D Barad.<\/span><\/p>\n

Assistant Labour Commissioner Ashish Gandhi quoted, \u201cIn the last two months alone, 30,000 workers have been registered by conducting 190 camps\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

To avail this scheme any working person can get the benefit of the card as a self-employed laborer.<\/span><\/p>\n
