For the convenience of passengers and to meet the travel demand, Western Railway has decided to run 4 pairs of additional special trains between Bandra (T) – Surat, Ahmedabad – Chennai Central, Ahmedabad – Veraval, and Porbandar – Muzaffarpur Jn.
According to a press release issued by WR CPRO Sumit Thakur the special trains will run till further advice. Details of these special trains are:
1. Train No.02935/02936 Bandra (T) – Surat Superfast Special Intercity Express (Daily)
Train No 02935 Bandra (T) – Surat Special train will leave Bandra (T) at 06.10 hrs w.e.f. 23rd January 2021 and will reach Surat at 10.35 hrs, the same day. Similarly, Train No. 02936 Surat – Bandra (T) Special train will leave Surat at 16.05 hrs w.e.f 23rd January 2021 and arrive Bandra (T) at 20.25 hrs, the same day. The train will halt at Andheri, Borivali, Virar, Boisar, Vapi, Valsad, Bilimora, and Navsari stations in both directions. This train will have AC Chair Car, Chair Car, and Second Class seating coaches.
2. Train No.09054/09053 Ahmedabad – Chennai Central Special Superfast Express (Weekly)
Train No 09054 Ahmedabad – Chennai Central Special train will leave Ahmedabad every Saturday at 09.40 hrs w.e.f. 23rd January 2021 and will reach Chennai Central at 16.00 hrs, the next day. Similarly, Train No. 09053 Chennai Central – Ahmedabad Special train will leave Chennai Central every Friday at 15.50 hrs w.e.f 22nd January 2021 and arrive Ahmedabad at 20.55 hrs, the next day.
The train will halt at Nadiad, Anand, Vadodara, Surat, Vapi, Boisar, Vasai Road, Kalyan, Pune, Solapur, Wadi, Yadgir, Raichur, Manthralayam Rd, Adoni, Guntakal, Gooty, Yerraguntla, Cuddapah, Renigunta, and Arakkonam stations in both directions. Train No. 09054 will have an additional halt at Tadipatri and Perambur stations and Train No. 09053 will have an additional halt at Koduru station. This train will have AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier, Sleeper Class, and Second Class seating coaches.
3.Train No.09257/09258 Ahmedabad -Veraval Special Superfast Express (Weekly)
Train No 09257 Ahmedabad – Veraval Special train will leave Ahmedabad every Friday at 22.10 hrs w.e.f. 22nd January 2021 and will reach Veraval at 06.00 hrs, the next day. Similarly, Train No. 09258 Veraval – Ahmedabad Special train will leave Veraval every Thursday at 21.50 hrs w.e.f 21st January 2021 and arrive Ahmedabad at 05.40 hrs, the next day.
The train will halt at Viramgam, Surendranagar, Than, Wankaner, Rajkot, Bhakti Nagar, Gondal, Virpur, Navagadh, Jetalsar, Junagadh, Keshod, Maliya Hatina, and Chorvad Rd stations in both directions. This train will have AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier, Sleeper Class, and Second Class seating coaches.
4. Train No.09269/09270 Porbandar – Muzaffarpur Jn Special Express (Bi-Weekly)
Train No 09269 Porbandar – Muzaffarpur Special train will leave Porbandar on Thursday & Friday at 19.40 hrs w.e.f. 21st January 2021 and will reach Muzaffarpur at 18.09 hrs, the third day. Similarly, Train No. 09270 Muzaffarpur – Porbandar Special train will leave Muzaffarpur on Sunday & Monday at 15.15 hrs w.e.f 24th January 2021 and arrive Porbandar at 13.45 hrs, the third day.
The train will halt at Jamnagar, Hapa, Rajkot, Wankaner, Surendranagar, Viramgam, Ambli Rd, Palanpur, Abu Road, Marwar, Beawar, Ajmer, Jaipur, Bandikui, Alwar, Rewari, Gurgaon, Delhi Cantt, Delhi Sarai Rohilla, Delhi, Moradabad, Bareilly, Shahjehanpur, Lucknow, Gonda, Gorakhpur, Siswa Bazar, Bagaha, Narkatiaganj, Bettiah, Sagauli, Bapudm Motihari, Chakia and Mehsi stations in both directions. Ambli Road halts allowed on a temporary basis. After completion of the platform at Chandlodiya, the halt will be shifted to Chandlodiya. This train will have AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier, Sleeper Class, and Second Class seating coaches.
The booking for Train Nos. 09269, 09257 & 09258 will open from 20th January 2021 & for Train Nos. 02935, 02936 & 09054 will open from 21st January 2021 at nominated PRS counters and on the IRCTC website. The trains will run as fully reserved trains.
WR to run two pairs of additional special trains between Ahmedabad- Nagpur, and Veraval- Pune
Train No. 01138/01137 Ahmedabad – Nagpur Superfast Special (Weekly)
Train No. 01138 Ahmedabad – Nagpur Superfast Special train will depart from Ahmedabad at 18.30 hrs every Thursday and will reach Nagpur at 10.25 hrs, the next day. This train will run from 21st January 2021. Similarly, Train No. 01137 Nagpur – Ahmedabad Superfast Special train will depart from Nagpur at 08.15 hrs every Wednesday and will reach Ahmedabad at 00.35 hrs, the next day. This train will run from 20th January 2021.
This train will halt at Nadiad, Anand, Vadodara, Bharuch, Surat, Nandurbar, Jalgaon, Bhusaval, Malkapur, Shegaon, Akola, Badnera, and Wardha stations in both directions. The train comprises AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier, Sleeper Class, and Second Class seating coaches.
Train No. 01087/01088 Veraval – Pune Special (Weekly)
Train No. 01087 Veraval – Pune Special train will depart from Veraval at 10.45 hrs every Saturday and will reach Pune at 07.35 hrs, the next day. This train will run from 23rd January 2021. Similarly, Train No. 01088 Pune – Veraval Special train will depart from Pune at 20.10 hrs every Thursday and will reach Veraval at 16.25 hrs, the next day. This train will run from 21st January 2021.
This train will halt at Keshod, Junagarh, Navagadh, Gondal, Rajkot, Wankaner, Surendranagar, Viramgam, Ahmedabad, Nadiad, Anand, Vadodara, Bharuch, Surat, Navsari, Valsad, Vapi, Dahanu Road, Vasai Road, Bhivandi Road, Kalyan, Karjat and Lonavla stations in both directions. Train No. 01087 will also halt at Shivaji Nagar. The train comprises AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier, Sleeper Class, and Second Class seating coaches.
*The booking of Train No. 01138 will open from 20th January 2021 and Train No. 01087 will open from 21st January 2021 at nominated PRS counters and on the IRCTC website. These trains will run as fully reserved trains.
