‘More ya’ to eco-friendly Ganesha

It all begins with choosing the right idol to bring home.

With an overwhelming majority of Ganesha idols are made using material that harms the environment, buying or making an eco-friendly should be considered as the most simplest and harmless way to celebrate the auspicious festival.

As preparations were in full swing to celebrate the auspicious Ganeshotsav, a group of Fine Arts Department from Parul University along with their mentor, Mr. Sachida, conducted a sculpture making workshop. This workshop was dedicated to helping devotees go green by providing them with eco-friendly Ganpati idols. This Ganesha idol was made using materials like clay, wood, and rice grass and took nearly 10 days to complete this idol.

This Ganesh Chaturthi, pledge to save nature by opting for greener and healthier alternatives.
