Young boy beaten to death for love in Chokari village, police arrested four

A young man fell in love with a girl in Chokari village of Padra taluka while being punished by the family of the young woman. The accused also wore a sari to the youth, tied him to a tree, and beat him mercilessly to death.

 As per details, the girl’s family found out about the love affair and abducted the youth Jayesh Raval from his house. On Wednesday, tied to a tree with a rope and beaten mercilessly. Four people together beat the young man with sticks, and the youth fell unconscious. Vadu police reached the spot and sent them to the hospital, where he was declared dead. 

Based on the complaint, Police registered a case against Kiran Mali, Mohan Mali, Ramesh Mali, and Kalidas Mali and arrested them immediately.

A video also goes viral where the youth was tied to the tree by the accused. Eminent Police Officials also reached the spot and kept a police bandobast to ensure peace in the village. “The girl’s mother saw them talking and informed the family members, and they then abducted the boy from his house, tied him onto a tree, and beat him till he got unconscious. Police reached the spot and sent the boy to the hospital, where the doctors declared him dead. We immediately arrested the father, uncle, grandfather, and brother of the girl under various sections of IPC, including kidnapping and murder; kept police bandobast to avoid any untoward incident,” said Sudhir Desai SP, Vadodara.
