A youth stabbed and killed the father of the girl whom he wanted to meet. He was reprimanded by her parents and in a matter of time, the youth rushed to their house and stabbed the father of the girl. The incident happened in Ramdevpir Chali in Bhutdizampa in Vadodara and Karelibaug police arrested the accused from the spot and took further action.
Devjibhai Bhalabhai Solanki, 50, of Ramdevpeer Chali, has 6 daughters and one son and out of them, two daughters are blind. On Wednesday night, his 21-year-old daughter went out to see off her aunt. While returning home she was stopped by a 26-year-old man named Arun alias Varun Patel, who lives in the same Chali and runs a retail shoe business. He asked her to meet but the girl refused and came home. She reported the whole incident to her parents.
The girl’s parents went to Arun’s house and reprimanded him and returned home. Meanwhile, within minutes enraged Arun rushed to the girl’s house and stabbed Devjibhai in the stomach, and fled from the spot. The people of Chali took the seriously injured Devjibhai to the SSG hospital where the doctors declared him dead.
The incident shocked the area as Karelibaug police reached the spot and arrested the accused. Further investigation is on in the matter.
